Slate Studios offers Virtual or E-design services. E-design services are also known as online, remote, and virtual interior design where everything is done virtually, giving us the ability to provide an affordable alternative to full-service design, no matter where you are located.

This service is also great for our local clients who are more DIY-ers and can take our expert advice and put in the effort to make it happen.

Unlike traditional interior design, with virtual service, we provide our clients with retail design selections, and a shopping list so that they can purchase and install the items in scope on their own.

Virtual service is right for you if you are looking for affordability, fast turn-around time, and the ability to upgrade your space by ordering and installing on your own. It’s the perfect option if you need an expert to pull together a design and you’re willing to put in a little work to make it happen.

Discovery Call

The discovery call and questionnaire is an important part of our process to make sure that we are mutually a good fit for each other. On the call, we discuss the details of your project, investment range, and answer any additional questions you may have.

Client Provides Information

The process begins with you providing us with information about the project, we will share questionnaires, and measuring forms and you will provide photos and measures of the space, and inspiration for the design. Once we receive this information, we will set up a conference call to discuss and share a design narrative and concept with you prior to designing.

The creative part of the process!

After we have all the information we need, we will prepare the design and review it with you on a video conference. The design includes a virtual rendering, design boards, and floor plans. We also include one round of revisions based on your feedback prior to issuing the final documents.

Final Documents

Once the design is finalized, we then prepare the final design boards, elevations with installation dimensions (if needed), set-up instructions, and a shopping list with vendor links to purchase everything.
